Contemplative Prayer

St. Paul’s welcomes all God’s people to our contemplative prayer group. Whatever your beliefs or doubts, you are welcome here. Gatherings are led by St. Paul’s parishioners.

For each gathering, we start with a reading: a short scripture, a poem, or other inspirational reading related to the life of contemplative prayer. After the reading, we sit in silence for 20 minutes (guided by the Centering Prayer teachings of Fr. Keating on silence and the sacred word). If you are new to centering prayer, just follow the instructions as the evening unfolds. You are welcome to use the silence in any way that is right for you.

In-person prayer: Tuesdays, 5:30 p.m., Chapel of the Cross
Zoom prayer: Mondays, 7 p.m.

Please contact the parish office for Zoom login information at (216) 932-5815.
