The Rev. Patricia Rose

The Rev. Patricia Rose

From 2023-2026, the Reverend Patricia Rose was our clergyperson for Outreach and Adult Spiritual Formation. She offered St. Paul’s many gifts, including her calm demeanor, training in areas of profound spiritual deepening and healing, and devotion to Christ. She has a passion for social justice in the service of love and for the depth of spiritual transformation which the wisdom and passion of Christ invites us to in our hearts.

Patricia brought a rich and diverse spiritual background to her work. She was raised Roman Catholic, including 12 years of Catholic school. Throughout her adult life she has studied, practiced, taught, and been a part of many different faith communities, all of which are an ongoing part of her. This includes spending a lot of time during her twenties and thirties in an ashram meditating, chanting, working, and studying ancient Hindu texts, and equally significant engagement in Buddhism, in a Christ-centered body of wisdom known as “Pathwork,” and in various healing traditions.

In 2011, after and during a series of major life challenges, Patricia, who was still a practicing Catholic at the time, unexpectedly wound up with a job she wasn’t looking for at an Episcopal church. After a couple of years, she was appointed as the Director of Adult Spiritual Formation and Communications, and a few years later, in 2017, followed a call to the priesthood. Patricia attended seminary at Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP) in Berkeley, California. She graduated in 2021 and served a curacy at both St. Stephen’s and St. Edward’s in Columbus, Ohio, before accepting the call at St. Paul’s in 2023.

Patricia’s career background includes education and communications. Trained at Mercy Center, Burlingame, California, she was also a Spiritual Director for 19 years. She is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and still likes watching Oriole and Ravens games with her children. She dearly enjoys family and friends, running and hiking in nature, laughing, meditating, yoga, reading and writing, photography, dining, music, and just generally the wonder and goodness of life.

In June 2026, Patricia began a new call as Interim Rector at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio.
