The Rev. Canon Patrick Malloy, Ph.D preached at the celebration of Holy Eucharist on the Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany. This Sunday was Theological Education Sunday, a day set aside in the Episcopal Church to focus on our search for knowledge and understanding of God. To mark this occasion, we welcomed Canon Patrick Malloy, former professor of liturgy and academic dean of the General Theological Seminary in New York, as our guest preacher. Canon Malloy currently serves as the Sub-Dean and Canon for Liturgy and the Arts at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York.
